Santa Monica's iconic Pacific Park on the pier got a new ferris wheel recently, and at twilight it provides some of the best views of the L.A. coastline. The park also features a chilling roller coaster that seemingly threatens to toss you into the ocean, lots of kiddie rides, a historic carousel, carnival games and a marine biology museum just outside the entrance.
